Angles Song (Track 14)

With this song, as is true with most of the others, students need clear instruction that includes manipulatives and plenty of practice. I have found that the basic concept of, "What is an angle?" can be very confusing for some students.

I believe that the hand motions on this song are absolutely essential. After all, students are singing, "Square corner just like so." If students don't show the angle with their hands, then what do they mean when they sing, "...just like so?" Watch a few students in my class doing the hand motions to this song.
