• The kids definitely need to see the lyrics over and over again for this song. "In and Im" and other prefixes can be very unclear if you just hear them without seeing them.

• Take on one verse at time over a long period of time. This song is one of the harder ones to memorize.
• Use the "Song Hints" sheet that is provided on this website (last page of the lyrics pages.)
• Give very short pop quizzes frequently as students are learning the song. For example, ask students to take out a scratch paper and write the meaning of the following 5 prefixes. Then write 5 prefixes on the board. After giving the students a few minutes to pull up the information in their brains by singing the song silently, go over the correct responses.
